The Bénard-Pitois family started to producing Champagne in 1878. Since then, a consistent drive to work the soil and the vine with respect and precision has been passed on through generations. Michelle and Laurent Bénard-Louis are the third generation of winemakers in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, have continued the family business while implementing numerous extensions and renovations mix tradition and modernity, setting the tempo of life.
Passionate about their work, Michelle and Laurent utilize their expertise to create high-quality Champagne appreciated in France and abroad. Their Classified Grand Cru (Great Growth) or Premier Cru (First Growth) vineyard of 9.5 hectares is located on the hills of 6 villages in the Great Marne Valley and the Côte des Blancs (Slope of the Whites).
