Their love affair with Champagne began four generations ago in 1929. Léopold Orban, a pioneer in the champagne-making process, decided to go into the production of wine. He was followed by his son Gaëtan Orban and his son Pol Orban, now under the leadership of Francis Orban.
Today, always energized by the desire to produce Champagne of the highest quality, you will find in the range of Champagnes Francis Orban a natural elegance and an inherited know-how specific to their family and terroir.
The vineyard is located in the heart of the Marne Valley, where champagne was born, about 15 km from Epernay, capital of champagne. This village is atypical in many respects with an ideal exposure and sunshine, an exceptional clay-limestone terroir and a perfect microclimate favorable to the cultivation of Pinot Meunier, which is the flagship grape of their farm.
